Single Vision

Single vision lenses are a lens type that has one prescription distributed evenly across the lens. This lens is designed to correct vision for those who are long-sighted, short-sighted or have an astigmatism.

Bifocal

Bifocal lenses contain two lens powers to assist in seeing objects at all distances. The lens has an obvious segment towards the bottom of the lens with an increased power for near vision. The lens segment is available in several shapes ranging from the usual D segment to an Executive style.

Varifocal

Varifocal lenses are recommended for those who have presbyopia. A varifocal lens is created with a gradual change in power from the top to the bottom of the lens. This provides different viewing distances in one pair of glasses, allowing the user to see near, far and everything the need to in-between without the need for multiple pairs of glasses.

Occupational

An occupational lens is designed to maximise your vision at a working distance. By determining the distance you require your lenses to work at, an occupational lens can provide the best prescription for your working distance and relieve the strain from near tasks.

Myopia Management

An innovative new lens is now available for myopia and is proven to reduce the rate of myopia progression by up to 60%. The MiYOSMART lens is a single vision lens that uses Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments technology to provide clear vision and myopic defocus simultaneously.

Polarised

Polarised sunglass lenses are designed to reduce glare, making viewing sharper and clearer. They are popular for users partaking in outdoor sports, especially water sports as they will eliminate glare and reflections, and are exceptionally useful when driving.

Lens Extras

  • MAR - Anti-reflective coatings help to provide clear, relaxed vision while prolonging the life and quality of your lenses. The coating helps to reduce glare from artificial lighting, while protecting the lenses from scratches, dirt and dust.
  • Blue Light Filter - A blue light filter is a coating that reduces the blue light emitted from screens and devices reaching the eye, providing protection and a more comfortable viewing experience.
  • Transitions - Transitions or photochromic lenses are a type of lens that darkens when UV radiation is present. These lenses are available in a variety of colours and offer 100% protection against UV.
